Is the Joker an Open Mike comic?

An interesting interview in SF Gate suggests The Joker might be an Open Mike comedian!  Adam Sandler's movie is a love letter to 47th Street in New York City.  Russell Peters is selling a house, and Comedy Central is giving Michael Kosta an hour special.
